GALLERIES:

LUNENBURG ART GALLERY
I am a member of the Lunenburg Art Society in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The gallery is a fabulous, bright space in a scenic town full of galleries. I experienced my first sales there.

SUPPLIERS:
WALLACE QUARRIES: Some of the finest sandstone on the continent is quarried in Wallace NS on the Northumberland Strait.  Wallace is a tiny village with a friendly cafe serving tasty food in summer, and - most important - a sculptor-friendly quarry that supplies many of Canada's important architectural, landscaping and artistic needs.

SOAPSTONE NOVA SCOTIA: These friendly entrepreneurs stock soapstone and alabaster in various sizes and colours.

DERUSHA SUPPLY: Who among us doesn't lurk in the aisles of Princess Auto, Home Depot, Canadian Tire etc? But for stone-carving specialty tools, Stanstead, Quebec, in the fabled Eastern Townships, is home to this trade supplier
as well as a Granite Museum. Both are friendly and enthusiastic ambassadors of the stone-carving trade.
